How it Works

With the recent implementation of California’s AB1033 ordinance, homeowners now have the opportunity to build and convert standard Accessory Dwelling Units (“ADUs”) into Accessory Condo Units that can be sold separately from their existing house.

Our business model allows us to partner directly with homeowners to develop and fund these ACUs with no out of pocket costs or accruing payments for the homeowner. Once completed, homeowners can choose to either sell the unit and share the profits with Accessory Condo Co., or they can choose to keep the unit by buying us out at a discounted and pre-determined price. Accessory Condo Co. can even help owners secure financing to buy the new unit and can reimburse the associated down payment.
